Went for my 17 week u/s checkup with the perinatologist today.
U/s was really long--checked more than 20 things per baby (like
chambers of heart, brain lobes, kidneys, etc.)...both babies
NORMAL!! :*) Praise God! :*) :*)
Cervix is still long and closed and the fibroid, while it is
growing a little bit on the outside of my uterus, is 'stable'
which means 'not a problem except it is sitting on my bladder
and both babies are using it as a trampoline'!
The two of them were moving a lot, and in fact reminded me of
those old toys, 'rock'em sock'em robots'--one baby would 'punch out'
at the other sac, and almost immediately the other baby would
'punch' back in return, LOL.
Oh, and by the way, THEY COOPERATED *FINALLY*!!!
Yay! :*)
Although both of them were wiggling around like crazy and gave
both the peri and the tech who first looked a run for their money,
the peri was able to verify at this point that:
Baby A is a http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=qqa0i8&s=3 !!!
and
Baby B is a http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=33fco6b&s=3 !!!
:*) :*)
We are so grateful both little ones are healthy and right on
target. Thanks to all of you who are keeping us in your thoughts
and prayers. We appreciate them so much! :*)
Love,
Carolyne in TX
17 weeks today!

OMG!! I cannot express how happy I am for you and your family, Carolyne.
You were right about the genders---baby A being a girl, baby B being a boy.
I bet Ramesh is on cloud 9! I am soo happy things are going well, and VERY
happy that you not only have 2 healthy babies, but one of them is a boy.
You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow! How awesome! I can't believe how right on you were with thinking
baby A was a girl and baby B was a boy! Those are some good instincts!
When I was pregnant with my twin girls I got a girl vibe, but I wasn't
sure if it was 2 girls or a girl and a boy. I am definitely not as
good at this game as you are! Congratulations!

Wowsers! What fantastic news, Carolyne! And your instincts are amazing...
especially since I'm 37 weeks pg and STILL don't really have a strong
feeling either way. I think girl more often than I think boy, but I
definitely won't be making bets either way.
Congratulations,

That is such great news, Carolyne, I am so happy that the babies are
doing so well. Funny how instincts are so often right...when I was pg
with the boys I had a really strong feeling that it was two boys, and
we didn't find out until they were born! I was only awake for Baby A,
then coming out of anesthesia I asked what the second one was, and
when DH said another boy the first thing I said was "I knew it"!
I hope and pray that the rest of your pregnancy is very uneventful.
Take care,
Ellen |

Congratulations, Carolyne!!!! That's just amazing how you knew all along
what the genders are! I'm so happy to hear they're both doing so well!

How right you were. Amazingly wonderful! One of each to round out your
three. Now Samuel and Sarah fit perfectly the bundles in there. I am so glad
they are healthy and right on target. My prayers, of course, continue.

What great instincts you have! Congrats, you guys must just be over the
moon The only one I had a real instinct with was DD, I had had a
dream after I found out I was pregnant that had my boys and a girl in it
as teenagers. I knew she was mine :*)
