New round of IVF

I'm going back to try another round of IVF tomorrow. AF arrived today
and I need to start my IVF cycle on day 2.

Hi - well my doctor is switching up my protocol for my next round of
IVF.

I was taking Gonal F, Repronex and then around day 6 or 7 I was given
Cetrotide to stop early ovulation. I ended up with 32 follicles and
many of them degenerated or were immature and couldn't be fertilized.
The stimulation protocol she used is for someone who is over 40 (I'm
42), but I didn't respond as a 42 year old would normally have. She
is looking for better egg quality this time around.

She thinks a Lupron cycle with the birth control pill, followed by
Lupron and then Gonal F and Repronex would be best.

I'll be looking at a retrieval date of around mid-December.

I'm nervous (really nervous) right now. She told me my FSH level is
around 3.5 which is quite low and that she doesn't see the usual signs
of decreased ovarian reserve. I hope this works this time around.
It's very difficult to deal with a failed IVF cycle (as many of you
out there know and understand).
