As you all know my dad has a heart condition plus Alzheimers disease
(dementia) he had to be put on oxygen tonight as his breathing was
really shallow and he was having trouble breathing a bit today. All
my sisters were there we were all crying around his bed. We said a
prayer for him. It was so emotional to see my mom with him too. They
have been married for over 50 years!! She couldnt wake him either but
a little after we prayed for him he came around and started waking up
which was a relief. I just don't think he will be here much longer.
I told him about Asher coming soon and if he wanted to see him soon.
He can't respond but i saw it in his eyes. Its sad. I know he
desperately wants to talk to me but can't. I go to the ob tomorrow so
we will see what my cervix has been doing this weekend!! Smile please
can you all spare a prayer for our family tonight?? I love my daddy
so much.

He and your family have my prayers Clarice. It's so sad to say goodbye. When
my Daddo (my maternal grandfather died), my Mama knew the night before he
wouldn't be with us anymore. She talked to him the night before as she did
every night and she said "I'll talk to you tomorrow" and he never responded
to her. He always said "about 9" but not that last night. He was right.

I am sure that your father knows that Asher is coming and that you are
joyously happy, what more could a Daddy want.

Keeping you all in my prayers, Clarice. I'm so sorry you're having to
prepare to say goodbye at what you had hoped would be a time of pure joy,
but what a blessing that Asher will be here soon for his big welcome into
the world. I hope his birth and presence in your life gives you the
strength you need during the difficult days ahead with your dad.

thanks everyone. Daddy is doing a bit better today. He is sitting up
and eating and breathing a bit better today. I know i eventually have
to let him go but it's so hard. I so want Asher to know my dad but i
know right now that's impossible. I will just be happy if i see the
two of them together. I want to thank everyone for the prayers and
thoughts for me and my family. Thanks for all the well wishes
too. Smile Your all too kind.

Many many prayers for your daddy, Clarice, to hold on until Baby Asher
can be put in his arms.
