Well, today I am 14 weeks, and apparently I have started
'pooching' out a bit more than I realized. Smile Went to Target
earlier and found a nice sale on maternity tops (about $4
each!! Got about 10) but couldn't find any jeans, which is
what I'm looking for. My regular jeans are just getting too
uncomfortable to wear, so since Walmart isn't even doing
maternity any more here, guess I'll have to go to the nearby
outlet mall and see what they have.

Anyway, I wore one of the tops to Maya's karate class, and
she wanted to take some pictures when we got home. I honestly
don't feel as big as I look (!) since I've been losing weight
of all things, LOL! I remember I started showing with Maya
when I was around 15/16 weeks, so I guess this is about the
right time for the twins to start showing. Smile

Here's the pics Maya took. She was so cute bossing me around,
telling me which way to pose, stand, smile, etc. Wink

Oh you do have belly going!!! What a cute little pouch! Looks like
you are carrying high already....I always carried low with both
pregnancies. Maternity pants are HORRIBLE now!!! I know you were pg
with Maya about 9 months before I was pg with Emily and the pants are
nothing like they were. I did not like one pair of my maternity pants
and was very ready to get back into my regular pants.

You can buy one of those elastic bands that hold up your regular jeans/
pants so you don't have to buy them...may be worth checking out!!

I just bought some stretchy pants and a couple pairs of maternity
jeans and i found quite a few tops at Target which i love their Liz
Lange collection. The tops are so cute!! They also have cute dresses
there too. I bought some clearance tops at Motherhood maternity
too. Smile I also bought some stuff at the Goodwill too. You look
absolutely adorable with your "belly" too cute!! Maya is a great
photographer too! (tell her that) Smile

Cute. From the front, you definately look pg. From the side, you're
carrying up really high!

Thanks, April! Yes, I know about those, and the generic version of
taking a rubber band to extend your waist of the jeans. The jeans
themselves are getting pretty uncomfortable, so it's time to check into
those lovely stretchy maternity ones. Smile

I actually saw some cute jeans at Target today, but the highest they
went to was size 16--oh, yeah, that's not gonna work for me! Smile
I think I'll check the other Target a little ways from here and see
what they've got, maybe they've got the same jeans only in higher
sizes.

One question I have got--who on earth thought it was a bright idea to
make the majority of maternity tops at Target with horizontal stripes?!?
Sheesh, like you aren't big enough already, you need those
stripes to accentuate even more, LOL! Smile

Are you asking me, Clarice?
If so, yes. Like Maya Grace, I've had the names for a long time, if they
are b/g like I think. For the boy, I like Samuel Suresh (Suresh was DH's
oldest brother who died accidentally when he was a young man, the family
is STILL traumatized by that to this day). Samuel I like because it's a
Bible name.

For the girl, I like Sara Josepha. Sara for DH's mother's name, and also
a Bible name, and Josepha is the name of my favorite maternal aunt when
I was growing up. (Joseph is a family name from way back in the family
tree.) Maya and I call the babies Sara and Samuel already. I think Baby
A is Sara, and Baby B is Samuel. DH and Maya and I were chatting about
this last night and he wants some goofy ancient Roman names, like
Maximus, or Augustus. Maya and I shot that idea down pretty quickly. Wink
Still got a few months to finalize the names, hopefully next visit
we'll learn the genders which will make naming go much easier! Smile

What's funny is that's mostly my intestines being pushed up--the babies
are down low in my belly, beneath my navel! Smile The same thing happened
with Maya though, apparently that's normal for me.

You ARE carrying high! So cute. Motherhood Maternity has these great pants
with a "secret fit belly" that's really soft, thin, and stretchy and doesn't
cut into your belly like some of the other ones. I'm just starting to get
really uncomfy in the regular ones because they're pressing on my belly too
much, and I think I'm going to invest in at least one pair of the secret fit
belly jeans to get myself through the rest of the pregnancy. Thank goodness
denim can be worn a couple or three times between washings without too much
trouble. And yes, I'm shameless enough to admit I do that... life is too
short to spend it doing laundry!

Toooo or is that Twooo cute? Matterhood maternity was having a sale as I
passed by there in the mall this weekend. Might be worth a look. Or order
online. Though the extenders are nice for jeans, I loved that I was getting
to wear "mama clothes" so I grabbed the opportunity.

Have fun looking for some that fit. Yoga pants are a good alternative. I
know those pants that you wear under you belly are very "in" I just couldn't
stand that.

When Alexis was into the show Lazy Town the very handsome "sportacus"
who has a to die for body!! You will have to go online to look him
up. His name in real life is Magnus and i told Tim if we ever got
lucky enough to have another baby and we had a boy i would love to
name him that. I think Will Ferrell had named his son that too. But
its weird she doesn't like that show anymore and i totally forgot
about it til a couple of days ago!! LOL Im sure Asher is thanking God
i didn't remember!!LOL

Perhaps a male version of Maya like Mayank or Mayanka. Sounds goofy and
ancient. Right? Both are Sanskrit according to the Baby Names reference
pages. =-)

You know me I LOVE baby names.

Cindi

We still knows exactly what Rachel and Ian would have been named if they
were the opposite genders (Rachel would have been Robert Lane or Robert
Patrick after very very special relatives who had passed away. and Ian would
have been Marilee Erinn giving my first name and Lee's middle name Mary and
Lee, and Erin for its Celtic origins. We would have called her Erinn since
we wanted our little person to go by their middle name) Not that of course,
any of this matters.
=-)

How cute! Maya takes good pictures!

I got a lot of my maternity clothes at JC Penney outlet. They have plus
size maternity stuff, and it was CHEAP!!
Lane Bryant and Fashion Bug both have maternity clothes now too. They are
only available online, but they have cute stuff.
