My only child, a 13 year old girl whose father is dead, has been bullied for
8 years by a very aggressive physically and verbally abusive older girl who
lives at the next farm and went to the same school. Now at different
schools we still have the same bus stop. A recent attack upon my daughter
on the bus ended us up at the Police Station giving a statement in defence
of the bus driver who came to my daughters aid and had been accused of
assaulting the bully. The bully has in the past accused me wrongfully of
assaulting her but has in fact assaulted my daughter several times. My
daughter witnessed that no potential harm came to the bully and claried that
in fact the story was made up by the older girl, who herself has aggressive
vindictive parents. My problem now is that my own girl is now quite
aggressive and extremely interested in suicide, death, guns and anything
violent. She managed to convince my sister to give her some horror films,
some of which I watched with her but I deem very damaging to her
psychological health. She has a school counsellor but has only worsened in
her interests in the darker (no offence) side of life. Any suggestions
welcomed.
