Ok, where did 6 weeks go?? Wasn't it yesterday that i was just going
in to the hospital to be induced?? LOL I go for my 6 weeks checkup at
the OB tomorrow. I am having so many emotions. I will be released
from his care tomorrow after i see him. I am very sad that i will
never be able to get pregnant again don't get me wrong we couldn't
afford another baby anyways but it's just so final tomorrow. I love
Asher don't get me wrong i love caring for him everyday. He is so
sweet. He is starting to smile at me almost daily. I guess what i am
saying is that it feels like i am relieving the infertility again. I
know right now and forever that i will never be pregnant ever again.
I have been blessed so much because for someone who thought they would
never ever be a mom and i have been pregnant 5 times! I am so
thankful God has blessed our family with 3 children!! I guess i could
be having a bit of postpartum depression too. Well i hope i haven't
depressed anyone here. Just letting my feelings out. How is
everyone???

I somewhat felt that way too and partially b/c of IF. Now though, I
don't even think about it. I actually want to have the procedure done
where you don't have AF anymore since BCP isn't controlling it. It
amazes me how have no desire to be pg again. I just want to enjoy my
girls and watch them grow. I guess now I am just very focused on my
family and getting my career off the ground.

Wow! Has 6 weeks already gone by so fast?!? :*)
You'll have to post some current pics of Asher--they change so much
these first few months!! :*)
On the ppd--I had a touch of that after I had Maya, and I totally get
what you are talking about...there's a bit of mourning that you'll
probably/will never have another child after this miracle, and that
made me really sad, although the joy of birth (finally!) overwhelmed
a lot of that IF grief...
I'm so glad you were blessed with your miracles, Clarice, and me too,
and I pray every day for those dealing with IF to achieve their miracles
(for the first time, or again) too! :*)

Thanks Carolyne. I do hope that others on the primary board and
secondary board get their miracles someday too. I think i do have a
slight touch of PPD too. It's like someone said i am closing a
chapter in my life and i guess i am going through some type of
mourning because of it. Thanks for all of your support.

Hi Clarice! Yes, time does fly, doesn't it? lol. Sounds like Asher is
doing great!
I wanted to ask you how's your thyroid? Have you had it checked
lately? I know my thyroid was whacky after each pg and I ended up w/
post pardum thyroiditis, which will give symtoms of depression. It
took over 2 months to get me back to "normal" with adjustments to my
Synthroid. Just thought I'd toss that out there just in case.
Take care,

Yeah my OB wanted me to have it checked regularly after i got pg and
my general practioner made me get my thyroid levels checked every
month while i was pg. I have had my levels checked once since i have
had Asher and it was normal too. It was normal throughout my
pregnancy too. I am on natural thyroid replacement now i am on Armour
thyroid and i guess maybe that's why it didn't change so much. I
actually was diagnosed in 1999 before i had Alexis. I went in with a
sore throat and that's when she noticed my neck was swollen and a
blood test said i had hypothyroidism and goiter too. THanks though
for thinking of that. How has your thyroid been?"?

That's the year my thyroid went kaputz, too! I remember it as the
"sickness of '99", lol. Wasn't funny at the time, tho. It took months
for me to get better. After I finally got pg, the doc upped my
Synthroid then I got messed up after going back down to the pre-pg
dosage. All is well now, except I do want to find a new
endocrinologist. Thanks for asking!

How are you feeling on synthroid? I never did good on it. I started
