My name is Dr. Nancy J. Eckstein and I am a family communication
researcher who studies the phenomenon of parents who have been
verbally, physically, and emotionally abused by their adolescent
children. I have published numerous articles and have produced a
documentary called the "Color of Hope" that explores this topic. I
have also experienced this type of abuse as a parent myself. Currently,
I am looking for other families who would be willing to share their
experiences in order to help parents looking for information and
answers to this issue. If you would be willing to be interviewed please
