6 months!!! (infant death ment, pg ment)

Gosh I cannot believe this!! They are halfway to their first b-day!
Where does the time go????

The girls are doing so good. Claire, who weighed 1lbs 2ozs less than
Carlie now weighs 2ozs more!! She is my little chunk-a-monk!! She is
just a big sweetheart, and melts me. Claire weighs 14lbs now, but is
an 1/2 inch shorter than Carlie. I think she will stay shorter too
since she takes after me physically more than Carlie, except for
facial features. Carlie weighs 13lbs. 14ozs. She is longer all the
way around and takes after DH's side more. She is my little
sunshine. She is always smiling and laughing and is as bright as can
be. We have had some issues with her hands and feet turning purple,
and she had to go for an echo yesterday, but I think she will be
fine! At the same time as this came up, a teacher at school had a
infant son who died of SIDS last week. He was only 2wks older than my
girls. It really hit me hard, and I feel so blessed to have my
girls. They bring me so much happiness and joy. They are just
amazing!

On a happy note, I will be an aunt again very soon. My sis is
expecting her third anytime in the next couple of weeks....I am so
excited!

Oh, April, they're sooooo beautiful and precious!!! I can't believe they're
six months old already and how much they've changed since the last time I
saw them!! The pic with Emily reminds me so much of photos we took of Rayna
doing that with her little sisters.

You're entering a *really* fun age, when they're no longer little babies
anymore and are becoming little people. Smile

Crazy isn't it? My girls will be 6 months in about a week and a half!
Your girls are beautiful by the way. They look different, but not
quite as different as my girls! I should post some new pics if I can
figure out how! Butterflyluvr

P.S. So sad to hear about the teached who's son passed away. I had a
cousin pass away from SIDS some years ago and it was so devestating to
all of us. I also had a baby sister who passed away after that. So, I
am always checking to make sure my girls little tummies are rising and
falling. Smile

I used to do that with my little brother when we were
younger too.

They sound adorable. Don't think I'll ever have twins, they're fairly
uncommon at my Clinic. My best friend had identicles though, so perhaps
there's still a chance, however the chance of us BOTH having identicles is
pretty slim.
You've done a fantastic job so far. The twinnies sound fantastic and
healthy, and they're so cute too. Way to go!
